Shalom, There are so many people have question about who king James was and what color he was. Many of us don't even know why the Bible is called King James in the first place. The bible is a history book mainly about the 12 Tribes of Israel and it teaches us who we are.

Truth about the History of King James brief:

King James was a staunch opponent against the establishment known as the Roman Catholic Church; making quotes such as "Rome is the Seat of the Antichrist." (--King James VI & I, A P) and "The Pope is Antichrist..." (--King James VI & I, Meditation Upon Revelation 20:7-10) and last but not least "The Scripture forbiddeth to worship the Image of any thing that God created..." (--King James VI & I, A Premonition to All Most Mightie Monarches). Here we have listed just a few of many of the quotes of King James in reference to what he thought of the Roman Catholic Church (then know as the Papist). In fact, James authored many books exposing and opposing everything from the Roman Catholic Church to the Rosicrucian Order of witchcraft and sorcery that began to up rise while James was still on his throne. A collection of King James' writings can be found in a hard to find book named, The Workes of the Most High and Mightie Prince James. Now we can see why the Roman Catholic Church doesn't take any measures to protect the character of King James.

King James full name was James Charles Stuart; born June 19th at Edinburg Castle in Scotland. He was born to Mary Queen of Scots and Lord Darnley in 1566. His father was murdered a year later after his birth in 1567. This led to James being crowned the king of Scotland at only 13 months old. He was at this time crowned James VI of Scotland and at age 12 he assumed power over the thrown. From the time of his youth, James was tutored in the languages of Greek, Latin, French, Italian, and Spanish. He was also a well learnt historian in his own right. It is also important to mention that he was learnt in arithmetic and cosmography (the study of maps) along with many other areas of learning. After ruling over Scotland for 36 years, James became the first ever king to rule over both England and Scotland when he became king of England in the year 1603. It was at his ascension to the throne of England that he
became known as King James I; while in Scotland he was called King James the VI. This was due to the fact that he ascended to each of these thrones at two different time periods. While there were are ready 5 James's to rule over Scotland prior to King James the VI, James became the first to rule over England. He was the first king to sit on three different thrones at once (England, Scotland, and Ireland) and was responsible for uniting these three countries into what is called Great Britain. You would believe that an accomplishment as great as this would be taught in modern history.

He was responsible for calling a decree for the translation of the Old and New Testament out of the original Hebrew and Greek tongues. This translation is known today as the King James Version 1611 Bible and is the most accurate translation of the Bible; simply because it correlates almost exactly with the Hebrew and Greek scrolls in which the Old and New Testament was written. King James had nothing to do with the actual translation of the Bible as far as hands on translating from one language to another. He instead hired 47 of the best scholars of his time who were skilled in Hebrew and Greek to translate the Holy Texts from one language to another.

King James VI & I (c. 1566-1625)

King James VI & IKing James was a King of Great Britain France and Ireland. King James was a Black man and the King James Bible is named after King James I of England, who lived from June 19, 1566 to March 27, 1625. The Established Church was divided during this era. In 1603, King James called a conference in the Hampton Court in attempt to resolve issues. As a result, a new translation and compilation of approved books of the Bible was commissioned to resolve issues with translations then being used. For example, the Geneva Version contained controversial marginal notes that proclaimed the Pope as an anti-Christ. The leaders of the church desired a Bible for the people, with scriptural references only for word clarification or cross-references.

King James approved 54 scholars to work on the translation, and 47 worked in six groups at three locations for seven years, comparing to previous English translations (such as the Geneva Bible) and texts in the original languages. The new translation was published in 1611 and called the Authorized Version, because it was authorized to be read in the churches. It later became known as the King James Version.

The King James translation had a significant influence on the English language and was widely accepted as the standard English Bible. Because of the project being overseen by King James and the care and precise attention to detail during this seven-year translation, the King James Bible was considered one of the most accurate translations in existance.

King James I of England, who authorized the translation of the now famous King James Bible, was considered by many to be one of the greatest, if not the greatest, monarchs that England has ever seen. Through his wisdom and determination he united the warring tribes of Scotland into a unified nation, and then joined England and Scotland to form the foundation for what is now known as the British Empire. At a time when only the churches of England possessed the Bible in English, King James' desire was that the common people should have the Bible in their native tongue. Thus, in 1603, King James called 54 of history's most learned men together to accomplish this great task. At a time when the leaders of the world wished to keep their subjects in spiritual ignorance, King James offered his subjects the greatest gift that he could give them. Their own copy of the Word of the Most High in English. James, who was fluent in Latin, Greek, and French, and schooled in Italian and Spanish even wrote a tract entitled "Counterblast to Tobacco",which was written to help thwart the use of tobacco in England. Such a man was sure to have enemies.

Sir Anthony Weldon (c.1583–1648)

Sir Anthony WeldonSir Anthony Weldon (1583–1648) was an English 17th Century courtier and politician. He is also the purported author of The Court and Character of King James I. Anthony Weldon, had to be excluded from the court. Weldon swore vengeance. It was not until 1650, twenty-five years after the death of King James that Weldon saw his chance. He wrote a paper calling James a homosexual. Obviously, James, being dead, was in no condition to defend himself. The report was largely ignored since there were still enough people alive who knew it wasn't true. It seems though, that Weldon's false account is being once again largely ignored by the majority of so called (Christians) with the exception of those with an ulterior motive, such as its author had. It might also be mentioned here that the Roman Catholic Church was so desperate to keep the true Bible out of the hands of the English people that it attempted to kill King James and all of Parliament in 1605. In 1605 a Roman Catholic by the name of Guy Fawkes, under the direction of a Jesuit priest by the name of Henry Garnet, was found in the basement of Parliament with thirty-six barrels of gunpowder which he was to use to blow up King James and the entire Parliament. After killing the king, they planned on imprisoning his children, re-establishing England as a state loyal to the Pope and kill all who resisted. Needless to say, the perfect English Bible would have been one of the plot's victims. Fawkes and Garnet and eight other conspirators were caught and hanged. It seems that those who work so hard to discredit the character of King James join an unholy lot.

‎Sir Anthony Weldon

"King James was a white homosexual": This is probably the most prominent of all accusations against the character of King James. Yet, very little to no one has actually researched this accusation to find out if it was true or not. So the question is… is this Myth or Truth? First and foremost, we would like to establish the fact that King James was not a Caucasian in any way shape or form. In fact, many of the rulers of Europe from about 193 A.D. to about the mid to late 16th century were people of color. This period is documented in modern history as the "Dark Ages", in which the descendents of the Israelites ruled over Europe for over 1000 years. This is why this time is tactically referred to as the "Dark Ages". Modern historians try to evade this fact by stating that the Dark Ages was a period in Europe in which no history was recorded; neither were there any new achievements in and politically, culturally, or economically. You have to remember that this is these are the same institutions that claim that they can find proof of life as far as 1 Billion years ago; yet, they have a hard time figuring out something as simple as to who was in power during this 1000 year period of history. Many so called scholars would like to refute this fact but can't. One of the reasons is that there can be found within the coats of arms and artwork of many European countries the images of black royalty.

Now for the second half of the accusation concerning King James being a homosexual. Where and how did this understanding come from; and is there any substantial proof showing this to be true? The answer to this question goes back to the year 1650, 25 years after the death of King James. The author of this allegation is Sir Anthony Weldon, a 17th century courtier and politician who had a personal vendetta against James. In his book titled, The Court and Character of King James, Weldon paints a portrait in which James is portrayed as an unhygienic, lazy homosexual. The question is why did Sir Weldon wait for 25 years until after James's death when he could no longer defend himself to bring forth this slanderous information? Sir Anthony
Weldon along with other authors of his time such as Francis Osborne (another guy who had a person problem with King James) are continually used by historians as reliable resources on the life of King James. Yet, both of these authors were known for composing hostile information against the King for their personal reasons. People lose their common sense and look over the fact that King James had a wife in which they bore 9 children together. Her name was Anne of Denmark. This was James's only wife and the married in the year of 1589. The idea of King James being a white homosexual can be officially dismissed as a myth.
