What is Sin?

This is why we must repent.

Baruch 2:12 O Lord our God, we have sinned, we have done ungodly, we have dealt unrighteously in all thine ordinances.

(We all have sinned berfore the Most High and have done undgodly.)

1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Psalm 53:1-4 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

Precept to Psalm 53:1:
Psalms 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

Romans 3:10-11 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

Precept to Psalm 53:2:
Psalms 33:13 The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.

2 Chronicles 15:2 And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

Precept to Psalm 53:3:
Ecclesiastes 7:29 Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

Precept to Psalm 53:4:
Jeremiah 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

(The fool is the Atheais and also for people who think they can get away with doing something that is wrong in the eyes of the Most High when they judgement dont come uponthem immediatl, thats a way of tempting the Most High, they are corrupt. The Most High looked down on Man and saw that everyone (nobody is exclude) has gone back. We must all put ourseleves in this position, no one is doing the absoulit right, thats why he sent Yashiya (Christ). Everyone has faults.)

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Precept to Romans 3:23:
Galatians 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

(It says for all have sinned, no one is excluded.)

The Importance of Repentance

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

1 John 3:1-24 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

(Look at the love that the father has bestowed upon us. His Son was the first spirit made outside of himself, That same spirit he sent that spirit in the earth to redeem us back to the Father. That is love. People wonder why they go against you when you want to give this truth, they aren't going to know you the same way they didn't know Christ.)

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

(So if you transgress against the law that is what sin is, breaking the laws, statues and commandments. The Most High gave Israel laws, statues and commandments. If you break those commandments you are sinning. How can you repent when society/World is telling you everything is you do is OK. American/World is a place where they say you can break the Most High law and you are forgiven of your sins through the blood of Christ.)

5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

(He was manifested to take our sins and in him there is no sins, What sins do he take away from, he take away the sins that we repent from.)

6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

(If you are walking in christ, you are looking to keep the commandments, you wont look into scripture to try to excuse you of your wrong doing.)

7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

(Don't let no man deceive you, wither it be your government, pastor, leader, no one.)

8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

(if you sin you is of the Devil, that is the one out here who is teaching that you can break the Most High laws, the Devil.)

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

(That is the key thing, loving our brother, how we interact with our own brother, and do we hate our brother?, That's why Cain killed his brother because he didn't want to do right, he was Jealous and envious of his brother Abel. The Most High loves us, that's why he loved us.)

13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

What is Repentance?

To understand what is repentance we must first understand the Most High Laws, Statues and Commandments. That's what society/World is telling us not to follow.

Psalms 38:17-18 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

Halt - an interruption or end to activity, movement, or progress.

(David said that he is ready to stop sining and feels sorry for the actions he has done against the Most High. Then he goes on to say he will declare his sins and he will be sorry for them (Sin).)

Psalms 32:5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

(By his example David is teaching us how to repent, by not making excuses for our sins but to be sorrowful and confess them before the Most High. In the Old Testament, the word that is used that refers to repentance is ‘Naham’ which means ‘to be sorry’.)

Psalms 78:5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:

(The Most High appointed a Law in Israel. The reason why this earth is lawless is due to the lawgiver being in captivity. Our Fathers are Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. It is our job to make these laws, statues, and commandments known to our children.)

2 Timothy 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

(In verse 24-26, Be gentle to all Men, not cursing people out and ect and be ready to teach. If you are in Christ don't talk about them be meek instructing them. Love your brother as you love yourself.)

Acts 11:18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Precept:
Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

(In verse 18 we see that the Most High gave repentance unto the Gentiles unto life.)

Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

Precept:
Matthew 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

(Correct your brother if he is doing wrong give that brother and sisiter a chance to repent.)

Matthew 12:25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

(Satan wants us to hate eachother and dont love each other.)

How do you Repent?

If sin according to the Bible is when you break the Most High’s commandments, repentance then, is to stop breaking the Most High’s commandments. Before an Israelite or Gentile can repent, he must first acknowledge his sins by confessing them before the Heavenly Father and then keep the commandments through following Christ’s example. By keeping the commandments you show your love for the Heavenly Father (God of Israel Ahayah) and Christ (Son of the Most High Yashiya). To see and read the Most HIgh commandments, Click Here.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Precept:
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Precept:
1 John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
